Bayside Animal Rehabilitation & Wellness — Keeping your pet an active part of your family. We offer rehabilitation and pain management options for post-surgical, geriatric, or injured patients. The goal of rehabilitation is to achieve the highest level of function, independence and quality of life possible for the patient. We work to develop a multimodal treatment plan based on your pet's specific conditions that can consist of therapeutic modalities for pain relief (i.e. laser), manual therapies, exercises, and nutrition in order to provide greater opportunity for a successful outcome

Dr. Jenn was born and raised in Michigan and obtained her Bachelors of Science from the University of Michigan. A year later, she moved to Massachusetts where she obtained her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine in 2014. Dedicated to practicing the highest quality medicine, Dr. Jenn continued her education by completing a one year internship in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery at the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine. After her internship, she pursued her love of emergency medicine and worked in an emergency and critical care referral hospital. In 2016, she began practicing general medicine in small animal clinics, focusing on preventative care. It was through this diverse background that she developed an interest in pain management and rehabilitation. In 2019, Dr. Jenn became certified in veterinary rehabilitation through the Canine Rehabilitation Institute and later became certified in veterinary acupuncture in 2022. Dr. Jenn started BARC in 2023 to help restore function, improve mobility, and relieve pain for pets along the northern Michigan coastline

Mission — Our practice philosophy is to provide exceptional, personalized, and compassionate care to our patients with the goal to keep them as active canine companions! Dr. Jenn cares deeply about all of her patients with the simple goal of treating each patient as if it were her own pet. We have longer appointment times and rehabilitation sessions are always with a licensed therapist
