Dr. Linda Richards graduated from the Virginia Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine in 1993. She came to Monroe County shortly afterward to work for Dr. Janet Hoke at Valley Vet Clinic in Pickaway, WV, met her husband Noel Boggess, a dairy farmer in Peterstown, WV, then moved to Peterstown and opened Tri-County Veterinary Services in January of 1996. Through the 20 years of practice in Monroe County, Tri-County has flourished. Dr. Faye Goodling spent 3 weeks with Linda at Tri-County Vet in her 4th year of vet school, fell in love with the area, and was offered a job doing the farm calls and working on large animals 12 years ago

Mission — The number one priority at Tri-County Veterinary Service is to provide our community with high quality veterinary care that customers can afford. We provide care for both small and large animals. Our mission is to ensure that as many animals as possible are afforded the opportunity to live a healthy life. In order to fulfill our mission, we participate in activities such as: Offering high quality medicine and surgery in an out-patient of in-the-hospital basis in a modern and fully-equipped clinic, Sponsoring periodic clinics offering reduced-price vaccinations, Working with local rescue organizations that help find forever homes for stray animals, and Supporting requests to visit schools and scouting groups to educate students on the importance of proper care for pets
