Underdog Pet Rescue and Vet Services

Underdog Pet Rescue is an all-breed companion animal rescue and affordable veterinary clinic based in Madison, Wisconsin, and Underdog Vet Services is its clinic, located at 2508 S. Stoughton Road, Madison, WI 53716. "We love your pets — We believe that every pet deserves high quality care. Our doctors and staff truly care about every animal that comes through our doors. Underdog Vet Services offers affordable rates that give people options when caring for their beloved furry family members." The clinic offers wellness and sick pet services daily, pet nutrition supplements, spay and neuter, dental procedures, specialty surgeries, and diagnostics including an in-house IDEXX lab and state-of-the-art ultrasound and digital X-ray. Urgent care walk-in appointments are available M-F from 1pm-5pm ($85 exam fee, first come, first served). Appointments can be scheduled by phone, email, or online. Underdog also brings mobile veterinary services throughout the state to help shelters and individuals with spay and neuter services

Executive Director Lauren Brinkman founded Underdog in 2012 after volunteering with other humane organizations throughout Wisconsin for about 10 years. Lauren's deep care for animals led her to form a rescue and vet clinic that helps the neediest of animals, while providing a quality experience for our adopters, volunteers, and clients. Under Lauren's leadership, Underdog has grown to save thousands of lives through our 200+ foster homes with support before, during, and after adoptions take place
