Dr. Hein founded WisconsinVeterinaryOrthopedics.com specializing in reconstructive joint surgery, implementing the TPLO as the surgery of choice for cruciate ligament repair. Dr. Hein was the first veterinarian in Western Wisconsin to offer laser surgery to pet owners as an alternative to more painful conventional surgeries. Dr. Hein and his wife, Anne-Marie operate Van Loon Animal Hospital
