Dr. Allie Moran grew up in Western Washington where she cultivated her love of animals and her passion to become a veterinarian. She attended Washington State University where she met her husband and received her BS in Zoology, then continued on at WSU for veterinary school, taking a particular interest in end-of-life and oncology care. Once she graduated, she worked as a general practitioner in the Western Washington area and performed in-home euthanasia services for her clients. After some time in general practice, she and her husband decided to start Pawprints because they want to help more people have the opportunity to experience in-home end-of-life care on their terms. They have brought on her sister-in-law Sydney to help with the day-to-day operations, making it truly a family-run business
