With a strong reputation for compassionate and quality veterinary care and boarding for pets on the Palouse since 1968, Alpine Animal Hospital is the largest privately owned veterinary hospital in Pullman. Since 1968, Alpine has maintained a strong commitment to our local community. We are a regular presence at community events including the National Lentil Festival, and the Whitman County Humane Society's Fur Ball & Silent Auction. Our doctors provide veterinary support to our local humane society, and volunteer at local & regional spay/neuter events. Our hospital also hosts veterinary students and interns, while many of our veterinarians support student curriculum activities at the WSU College of Veterinary Medicine. Rabies Free Africa Partner Clinic: Alpine Animal Hospital partners with the Paul G. Allen School for Global Health's Rabies Free Africa program, donating $1 for every Rabies vaccination administered at our hospital. Since partnering in 2019, we have donated over $15,000 to this important cause to eliminate human deaths from Rabies Virus
