Since 1979 Dr. Cryan has called Virginia home and is a proud product of the local school system (Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology Graduating Class of 1993). His education continued at the University of Virginia where his insatiable curiosity led him to major in biology and minor in history. After graduation he began working toward a Masters in Veterinary Biology at University College Dublin in Ireland and ended that year with first class honors in Applied Medical Biophysics. After relocating back to the states, the Doctor earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine (VMRCVM) in Blacksburg, Virginia, a unique school that is partnered with both Virginia Tech and the University of Maryland. Dr. Cryan began practicing clinical medicine immediately after his 2002 graduation from VMRCVM. He initially worked at Greenwich Animal Hospital in Connecticut and eventually returned to Northern Virginia to work at a small animal hospital in Mclean, Virginia until launching NoVa Mobile Vet in the summer of 2011. NoVa Mobile Vet, PLLC allows Dr. Cryan to focus his efforts and energy on delivering premier veterinary care right to the front doors of his neighbors in Northern Virginia
