Georgetown Veterinary Hospital is, in one word, a family. Since 2005, Dr. Erica Haley and her husband Thomas have run the hospital as a family business. Hiring team members who share their ideals of family values, teamwork, education, and excellence of care has allowed Georgetown Veterinary Hospital to be voted the Best Veterinary Hospital in Georgetown. Being locally owned and operated has given Georgetown Veterinary Hospital a unique opportunity to truly be "Your Other Family Doctor". From its conception, Dr. Haley had a vision to use the hospital's resources to educate future generations. We have a well-developed program for facilitating home school tours and vet-for-a-day opportunities for elementary-aged students. We partner with local high schools to give students an opportunity to complete their Certified Veterinary Assistant certifications. Additionally, we have college students from around the world who come to complete their externships to become veterinarians
