Spay Neuter Network (SNN) operates four spay/neuter clinics, a mobile spay-neuter program, and a transport program in partnership with over 16 counties to provide free and affordable spay/neuter and essential wellness services for financially challenged pet owners. SNN is nationally recognized for its high-quality, high-volume (HQHV) spay/neuter expertise. We provide free and affordable HQHV spay/neuter, wellness, and vaccination services for dogs and cats in neighborhoods with little to no access to basic veterinary care. We keep our services low-cost and high-quality thanks to our nationally-recognized expertise in the procedure. Thanks to our dedicated staff, volunteers, and generous donors (like you), we've been able to help owners in Texas keep their pets healthy since 2004
2004: We were founded to address the needs of pets in Kaufman County, just southeast of Dallas. Our small group of dedicated volunteers worked twice a week, providing services to 2,000 animals annually in a temporary clinic. 2005: Our first stationary, high-volume clinic opened in Crandall, operating three days a week. 2010: We built a larger clinic, allowing us to expand the number of annual surgeries to 17,000. Today, this clinic serves as a regional center for all our statewide programs. 2011: Our first MASH unit was mobilized, taking our services to the most impoverished parts of North Texas. 2014: We expanded with our current MASH vehicle, the HOPE Mobile. This larger unit allowed us to hold up to 50 animals at one time. 2014: The Fort Worth Takin' It to the Street Program launched, providing more than 4,000 free surgeries in Ft. Worth each year. 2017: Our second stationary clinic in southern Dallas opened, as part of the Southern Dallas Spay/Neuter Surge Project. Our annual surgeries hits 25,000! 2019: We opened a full-time clinic in southeast Fort Worth, extending our expertise to more of DFW. 2020: In 2020, we launched our award-winning partnership with the City of Dallas and Dallas Animal Services to provide resources to keep pets in their homes or provide foster care and adoption alternatives to the city animal shelter. 2022: Our Community Pet Care program launched to expand low-cost care and offer more opportunities for financially challenged pet owners to connect with veterinarians at our Fort Worth location. 2023: We opened a full-time clinic in San Antonio, extending our reach to more of Texas. 2024: We expanded our spay - neuter transport service to San Antonio. 2025: We started operating in our new Dallas clinic location that doubles the space and increases surgery capacity
Mission — Spay Neuter Network's mission is to eliminate pet overpopulation through spay/neuter, while empowering communities to care responsibly for dogs and cats. Overpopulation places a strain on our shelters and communities. By offering free or low-cost spay/neuter, and by empowering our communities to care responsibly for their pets, we can be the pet health experts for animals and owners who need us the most
