Our mission is to provide comprehensive, compassionate care for pets at every stage of their lives. From expert veterinary services to personalized daycare, boarding, grooming, and training, we are committed to offering a full spectrum of services that meet the unique needs of each pet. In our state-of-the-art facility, we prioritize your pet's health, happiness, and well-being, creating a safe, nurturing environment for them to thrive. We build lasting relationships with both pets and their families, ensuring every visit is an experience of care, trust, and comfort. Our veterinarian owned and operated premier pet care center is the first of its kind in our area. Our amenities include cage free boarding and spacious home-like pet suites, complete with TVs and raised beds or dorm style private runs, room service providing premium meals served twice daily, and at least 6 outdoor exercise and potty breaks daily for all canine guests. For out of town visitors, consider us when your travels bring you to the Brazos Valley. We are conveniently located just 3 miles south of Texas A&M University in a state-of-the-art facility

Shannon Casto grew up immersed in the world of dog training. Her mother was an amateur field trial trainer who campaigned her Golden Retriever, "Quar," across the United States, ultimately earning his Field Championship in 1975. In 1990, Shannon founded K9 Kindergarten in College Station, where she taught group and private training classes and continuously refined her curriculum through ongoing education. In 2000, Shannon graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in Wildlife and Fisheries Management. After graduation, she helped manage Wellborn Road Veterinary Hospital with her parents, Drs. Joseph and Dorothy Mikeska, until their retirement in 2004. It was during that time that Shannon recognized the need for a premier pet care facility in the Brazos Valley—one that provided the level of care and enrichment she wanted for her own pets. With the support of her parents, she launched what would become Waggie Pet Zone (originally Aggie Pet Zone)
