FOTAS Community Spay & Neuter Clinic

We are a spay and neuter clinic for cats AND dogs in southern Oregon. Conveniently located on Biddle Road in Medford, our clinic offers dog and cat spay/neuter, volume partner services, and ancillary services, such as vaccinations and microchipping, all available with a spay/neuter appointment. Friends of the Animals Community Spay & Neuter Clinic is a program of Friends of the Animals. The clinic offers a surgery package that is 'a whole lot more than just surgery,' and a Wellness Package (rabies and distemper vaccinations and microchip at the time of surgery) available only with a spay/neuter procedure. FOTAS Community Spay & Neuter Clinic partners with Shelters and animal rescue organizations to provide spay/neuter services for the dogs and cats under their care before adoption, and also serves feral/community cats

For more than 30 years, Friends of the Animals (FOTAS) has been providing volunteers to help Jackson County Animal Shelter animals get adopted faster, while improving their quality of life while they wait. We have added an additional focus to our mission – reducing the number of animals entering shelters at all. FOTAS has known for years that the solution to pet overpopulation is prevention. We have been strategic in our efforts to move in that direction by adding veterinary resources on our Board of Directors and in our staffing to help facilitate expansion into the new Friends of the Animals Community Spay & Neuter Clinic. Of course, FOTAS will continue to support Shelter animals, but we know the community needs much more. Our strategic focus has expanded to: Spay and neuter options to decrease 'accidental litters' through the Friends of the Animals Community Spay & Neuter clinic; providing nurturing 'homes between homes' before adoption through our Cat & Dog Foster Programs; contributing toward pet safety through our vaccination and microchip program; continued emotional and physical support of the animals at the Jackson County Animal Shelter; and creating strong partnerships with other rescue organizations
