At Park Veterinary Hospital & Urgent Care, our veterinarians and team treat our patients as part of our family. With more than 90 years of experience in veterinary medicine combined with state-of-the-art technology, our vets are able to meet the surgical and diagnostic needs of pets in the greater Durham, NC area. Since 1982, we've grown from a small storefront clinic into our current AAHA-accredited facility. Our veterinarians and technicians understand that each pet is unique. We will treat him or her with compassion and individualized attention. We're equipped to treat pets of any breed or size. Because we offer emergency and urgent care services, it's important that we are equipped to provide quick and effective diagnoses. We have an in-house diagnostic imaging department where we are able to conduct endoscopies, ultrasounds, and digital x-rays. And for pets that have recently had surgery, we offer laser therapy to promote quick healing and pain relief. To promote your pet's health year-round, we encourage you to bring your pet in for bi-annual wellness exams. At this time, we will perform routine bloodwork and dental cleanings in addition to administering any necessary vaccinations. If you have to travel and are unable to take your furry friend with you, we offer boarding services. As a certified cat-friendly facility, all cat condos are located on a separate floor from dogs to promote a stress-free environment

Park Veterinary Hospital & Urgent Care was started in 1982 in a storefront location. We have been at our current facility for the past 27 years and enjoy its convenient location as well as the beautiful setting amidst our wooded area. Consistently voted Best Veterinarian in Durham by Durham Magazine and Neighborhood Favorite by Nextdoor. Understanding the busy lives our clients lead, we are now open seven days a week and look toward adding even more open hours each day for our clients' convenience.
