Dr. McNally completed his pre-veterinary education at Alma College and Michigan State University, where he earned both his Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degrees. He began practicing in suburban Detroit before he and his wife, Brenda, decided to return home to be closer to family. In 1985 he joined Gratiot Animal Hospital and became the practice owner a year later
