Dr. Hornback completed his pre-veterinary studies at the University of Kentucky, working at Woodford Veterinary Clinic for three years during that time to gain real-world experience. Next, he earned his Doctorate at Auburn University's School of Veterinary Medicine in 1989 before launching his career as a licensed veterinarian. Dr. Hornback worked in several general practice and small-animal emergency clinics after his schooling, gaining a vast array of knowledge and experience, and then decided to open and manage his own practice. Having performed his preceptorship in this area, Dr. Hornback founded Evergreen Animal Hospital in the spring of 1993—he's been serving the pets and animal parents of this area ever since!
