A full-service hospital on West Park with an in-house laboratory, digital X-ray and a surgical suite — plus farm calls for horses, cattle, pigs, sheep and goats when the trailer isn't an option. Companion animals: Wellness exams and vaccination, dentistry under anesthesia, and routine and advanced surgery. Our in-house laboratory usually has results and a treatment plan the same day as the visit. Large animal & livestock: Preventative care and farm calls for sick or injured animals — horses, cattle, pigs, sheep and goats — handled at your farm or at our facility, whichever is safer for the animal. Three fully equipped mobile veterinary units go out to the farm, with mobile X-ray and ultrasound aboard

1988 — Liz joins the Waterloo Animal Clinic as Dr. Richard Shilliday retires, and marries Dwight the same year. 1990 — Liz and Dwight buy the clinic and rename it the Waterloo Animal Hospital. 1997 — Colleen joins as a veterinary technician. She is still here. 2000 — Sandy joins the technician team. 2015 — Sara joins, having grown up in Waterloo
