Dr. Greg Winter is a Tallahassee native, growing up farming and raising black angus cattle. He graduated from Lincoln High School and started his undergraduate studies at FSU. He then moved to Athens, GA where he was accepted into the University of Georgia's College of Veterinary Medicine. He graduated in 1991 and moved back to Tallahassee, where he began his career by working at a local small and large animal practice. Then in 2000, he built Winter Animal Hospital and with the help of childhood friend and vet tech, Lee Booth, opened what is now a thriving community-oriented practice. Dr. Winter now only practices small-animal medicine, but occasionally will have a large animal patient
