Quaintly located in Lake Elsinore, Mountainview Small Animal Hospital is surrounded by mountains (as the hospital's name suggests) and a beautiful lake. Volunteers constructed the building in the late 1950s to serve as a community center for the American Legion and VFW. To this day, the 1959 dedication plaque still shines proudly on the front corner of the building. Since 1977, when Dr. Tom Jessup bought the facility, this charming old building has been our home away from home, where we have made the commitment to care for the area's pets as if they were our own. Dr. Craig B. Hempel has proudly practiced veterinary medicine in Lake Elsinore for over 40 years. In 1988, he became co-owner of Mountainview Small Animal Hospital alongside Dr. Thomas Jessup, later taking over as sole owner in 2012
